Roots & Reason

From Me to You — by Wilson Rios

Hi, I’m Wilson—founder of Light & Key.

I was born in Puerto Rico and raised in Brooklyn, and both of those places shaped who I am—raw, rooted, resilient, and full of soul.
I grew up surrounded by spirit, rhythm, and survival. I’ve always loved beautiful things—luxury, texture, art—but I’ve also always been grounded, humble, a little hood, and always real.

I started Light & Key because I’ve never fit in just one box. I studied drawing and painting, but I also write. I make jewelry, thrift like it’s a ritual, collect antique treasures, and bring ideas to life in whatever form they come.
Some seasons it’s earrings. Other times it’s a book, a jacket, or an illustrated deck.
That’s what Light & Key is about: following the light of inspiration—and making something real out of it.

This space isn’t just about what I create—
It’s about who I create with.
I want Light & Key to be a place where other creatives—artists, writers, photographers, dreamers—can bring their visions to life too. Whether it’s through collaboration or just vibing with the work, this is a space for us.

It’s spiritual. It’s street. It’s sacred. And it’s mine to give.

So if you’re here to shop, connect, be inspired, or just feel something—welcome.

This is Light & Key.
Where the light is the idea—and the key is bringing it to life.
